Who am I when I realise I do not stand alone?

This week we continue our exploration of a Hawaiian practice that reminds us the self is not isolated, but woven into a living web of relationships. Through movement, presence and shared awareness, Ka’alele’au guides us to meet the world with openness, reciprocity, and respect.

Join us as we feel into the truth that I am because we are.

This week we explore a Hawaiian practice that reminds us the self is not isolated, but woven into a living web of relationships.

Through movement, presence and shared awareness, Ka’alele’au guides us to meet the world with openness, reciprocity, and respect. As we step into right relation with self, others, land and spirit, we discover a deeper answer to the inquiry at the heart of this term.

What if the simplest act we do - breathe - holds the key to answering the deepest question we can ask: Who am I?

In this breathwork session, we turn toward the inhale and exhale as gateways into the layers of self. As the body activates, the mind quiets, and awareness expands, breath becomes more than physiology it becomes inquiry.

I am … who?

The self is never a solitary island. Identity arises through service, reciprocity and participation. Through ceremony, sound, prayer and shared presence, we explore a deeper layer of the question at the heart of this term.

A safe space to talk can make a difference.

Sometimes what helps most is being heard.
No pressure. No judgment. Just someone who listens.

At Mowana Safe Space, we offer a place where you can share what’s on your mind, at your own pace, in your own way. Our peer-led team is here to sit with you, support you, and remind you that you don’t have to carry things alone.

If you or someone you know needs a space to talk, we’re here.

You don’t always need advice or answers. Sometimes what helps most is knowing someone is truly there—listening without judgment, without rushing you, without trying to fix it.

Being heard can ease the weight we carry and remind us we don’t have to hold everything alone. And if you’re needing that kind of space, Mowana is here to listen, to sit with you, and to meet you with care.

Who am I when I create without limitations?

Through colour, line and texture, we move beyond words and let the deeper layers of the self emerge — the parts that don’t speak through thought, but through instinct, symbol and imagination.

Sometimes emotional pain can feel overwhelming.
It can feel isolating.
It can feel like no one would understand.

But your story matters.
Your feelings matter.
You matter.

Talking to someone who listens without judgment can make a difference.
A safe space to be heard can help bring light to even the darkest moments.

At Mowana Safe Space, you’ll find people who care.
People who listen.
People who sit beside you, just as you are.

You are not alone.
Support is here — before things reach crisis.

If today feels heavy, come in for a chat or share this with someone who might need support.
