Humans have always connected through frequencies, the cadence of breath, the vibrations of voice and music help our mood shift and our bodies relax. In this weeks session Lissa Williams blends breath and vocal techniques designed to calm the nervous system and guide us into a state of coherence where creativity, flow and connection naturally arise. Lissa draws on experience in therapeutic Hypnosis, breathwork and vocal techniques to create this unique experience of connection and creativity.

In this weeks session, Dany Fitzgerald will share insights into the creative process and the story behind her book Glow: A Soulful Guide to Self-Love and Coming Home to Who You Really Are.
Danny will also lead us though a couple of the practices that have contributed to her process of awakening, returning to wholeness, and embodying the Glow.

Blending memoir with holistic wisdom, author Dany Fitzgerald traces her own journey through decades of quiet self-abandonment, the slow, invisible ways we drift from who we really are, to the moment everything cracked open, and she finally came home to herself.
This week we work with the oldest instrument we have, the body itself. A session exploring creativity through movement, joyful, unforced, and open to everyone. There are no steps to learn and nothing to get right. Just a room, some music, and the simple permission to move the way your body wants to.

There's a reason we keep coming back to sound. Earlier in the term we set the making down and let ourselves be worked upon by vibration, and something loosened that words couldn't reach. This week we go further, in the hands of Vanessa Fernandez and Nic Robertson of Stellar Sound.

Vanessa and Nic are a creative couple as well as sound practitioners, bringing live voice, tuning forks, gongs and shamanic sound into spaces of connection across the Northern Beaches. They'll share their own perspectives on creativity, explain why we are all creators and how a settled nervous system opens the door which we will experience in a guided intuitive sound journey.

As participants, the only task is to breathe and receive. As the sound moves, the thinking mind loosens its grip and the body speaks in its own language.
Why worry about what you can’t Control!
The title of this weeks session is: Made Together.
We will continue our exploration of creativity and how it can change the way we relate to the world and each other.
Our hosts Bethany and Suzi will lead us on a journey from stillness into imagination. This art based session will explore the aspect of creativity that emerges when we create together. No art skills required, come as you are.

Join us for a restorative sound immersion led by the wonderful Em Caunt.

A sound immersion is not a performance to watch. It is a bath of vibration you lie back into, where the only task is to breathe and receive.

Tonight we welcome Em as our resident sound magician at Wisdom and Wellbeing. Em has assisted Becc Gray at Holdspace at many of our sessions and is now taking the lead to guide you through a wonderful and potent sound immersion.

Mowana Wisdom and Wellbeing is operated as a community service. We aim to make these sessions affordable and accessible to all in our community. We operate a pay-what-you-can-afford model with payment guidance from $15-28.

This week we turn the making inward. Through a guided creative exploration, we look at what happens when we reflect on ourselves not in words but through the forms of the natural world. There is something in a living thing, the way it roots, holds, and reaches, that shows us back to ourselves more honestly than a mirror ever could.
